Massachusetts OUI & DUI Substance Use Evaluations

Virtual Alcohol and Drug Assessments for Court and Legal Matters

If you have been charged with an OUI or DUI in Massachusetts, you may need a substance use evaluation for your attorney, court case, probation, or another legal requirement.

I provide virtual OUI/DUI substance use evaluations throughout Massachusetts, with objective clinical findings, individualized recommendations, and written reports when requested. Expedited scheduling is available for time-sensitive matters.

What Is an OUI/DUI Evaluation?

A substance use evaluation assesses an individual's alcohol and drug use, relevant history, current functioning, and potential substance use disorder.

An OUI/DUI charge does not automatically mean someone has a substance use disorder. The evaluation provides an objective clinical assessment and identifies treatment or educational needs when appropriate.

What Does It Include?

Evaluations may include:

  • Clinical interview and substance use history

  • Review of the OUI/DUI circumstances

  • Previous substance-related incidents or treatment

  • Relevant mental health and psychosocial history

  • Standardized assessment measures

  • Review of relevant records

  • Diagnostic impressions and recommendations

Written reports are available when requested and may summarize assessment findings, diagnostic impressions, risk factors, and recommendations.

If your evaluation has been ordered by a court or agency, confirm that a virtual evaluation meets its specific requirements before scheduling. An evaluation does not guarantee a particular court or licensing outcome.
